Synopsis

Character Description

Jung Jaemin
31 years old cheerful and handsome man. He is  Hakyung’s bodyguard and driver.
Jaemin is a mischievous and humorous young man. At the time when he does some mistakes or failure, he can forget it quickly.
His weak point are his father and family.
His father gave birth to him through illegal love-affairs. All of his family knows it. Though his biggest sister Yujin try to understand and console him, his second big sister Yura hates him. His high school and college friends know him as a by from humble family.
He is so unlucky to get a job. Though he passed paper-test, several times, he failed in interview. Miju is a girl whom he met in his hard days. She was like a mother or sister for him. So, he tried to avoid showing his family problems to her because he wants to show her his good parts only.
But, it makes their (=Jaemin and Miju) relationship goes worse. When he knows Miju’s patience comes to limit, he decided to introduce her to his father. But, something unexpected thing happens and made them break off.
Then, he met Hakyung. Since he met Hakyung, his twisted-life starts to be solved. As Hakyung mother’s likes him, he succeeds to get job. Moreover, he is chosen as Hakyung’s future husband !! Hakyung, who was tired of her mother’s nagging about marriage, suggests a marriage contract. Jaemin starts to struggle not to lose his chance.

Song Miju

30 years old temporary worker in bank. Because she has pride and independent personality, she seldom complains against hardships.
At 7, her parents divorced. It hurt her heart. She feels pity for her mother and hates her indecisive father.
At early stage of her relationship with Jaemin, she likes his attitude that he always tries to show bright part of him. But, as time passes by, she starts to suspect his real heart as he does not show his heart sincerely.
After she broke with Jaemin, she enters mother’s home. While she helps mother’s grocery store, she recognizes her own talents at cooking. She decides to give up her hope to become regular worker in the bank, then, starts to learn cooking seriously.
While she lives together with her mother, her bad prejudice over her mother starts to disappear. She starts to like her. When she knows that her mother feels favor for Hyunsoo, she tries aggressively to match them.

Eun Harim

34 years old. Owner and chef of small restaurant.
By appearance, it seems that he owns everything. He is generous and romantic. So, women like him.
Because of his bright and full-of-smile face, he looks like he never experienced difficulties. But, actually, he received many hardships from his mother due to mother’s pressure: Pressure that her son must be the best in any area.
When Hyesin (=Harim’s mother) knows Harim’s dream is just becoming a small restaurant owner, she disappointed very much.
Since then, she frequently blames and begs her son. As he used to it, he handles it well.
Though he likes Miju, he tries not to cling to her as he wants to keep her safely. Actually, For Miju who feels tired with her daily life, harim is like her prince charming..

Eun Hakyung

28 years old. Marketing director. As she grows up in a wealthy family, she is not familiar with dark side of life. She is open-minded and cheerful. She talks what she feels, so sometimes it hurts people.
But, it is not her intention. She does not have any prejudice for people.
Though she is sometimes naïve, careless in daily life, she is professional in works.
Between mother and brother, she takes mother’s side in front, then, consoles brother in behind her. She knows what her mother expect from her.
Sometimes she wants to run away from her mother’s expectation, but she obeys her mother as she likes her works.
While she feels free for love, she is not interesting in marriage.
When she felt tired with her mother’s hope for marriage, she proposed marriage contract to Jaemin.
But, as time passes by, she feels that Jaemin is a good man and starts to like him.

Synopsis
It’s the story of a group of super rich high school students who are projected to take over their family business empire. These young people deals with love and friendship.
When Kim Tan’s father, the chairman of Jeguk Group was taken ill, Tan’s half-brother, Kim Won took over his place naturally. Kim
Tan’s mother always told him he had to beat his brother but, in secret, he liked his brother, who was cool, mature and manly.
When Kim Tan left to study overseas, his brother told him coldly, “Don’t think about things too much, just have fun. Eat well, sleep well and if possible, don’t come back.” That moment he realized that he was actually being exiled. His half-brother was taking back from him things that his mother had taken from him.
Having a mother who couldn’t speak, having a mother who worked as a maid or living in a stingy basement room full of mold all your life…. Which is the most uncomfortable out of the three? Unfortunately for Eun-sang, she had all three. “It feels like the whole universe is working to make me unhappy. Do you know what that feels like?”
Worn out from her part-time jobs, Eun-sang smiled sadly. Her older sister who was supporting herself through her studies in a foreign country was her pride and role model. Then one day, she got a call from her sister saying that she was getting married to a rich man. Using the excuse of delivering the wedding dowry money from their mother in person, she took this chance and got on a plane to see her sister. She wasn’t coming back.
However, what she found wasn’t a lavish weeding but her sister living with a white alcoholic man and making ends meet as a waitress. Her role model crumbled before her eye. Feeling betrayed, she ended up having a huge fight with her sister and leaves. With nowhere to go, she get mixed up in a crazy circumstance and ended up spending the night at Kim Tan’s house. She felt like Cinderella when she entered his house. While dazzled by the immensity and luxuriousness of the house, a girl banged in. It was his fiancee (Rachel Yoo) . How could people be engaged at eighteen?

Rachel Yoo arrives to bring him back to Korea.

Meanwhile, Rachel’s half-brother, Choi Young Do, is falling in love with Cha Eun Sang.
